The Fall and early Winter always presage a slight slowdown in Flora but there are still plenty of creative and evocative images to view. Jim Sabiston produced one of the most creative images of the year IMO with a cell phone! His 38th St. Orchid proves that the most important photographic equipment is a photographer’s vision and creativity. Another creative capture was produced by Catherine Reilly whose recent fall leaf series has just been wonderful. Ian Wolfenden continues to be a master of the image stacking technique while a relative newcomer to the genre, Mauro Pasquero, used stacking on a series of carnivorous plants to great effect. And finally we got a nostalgic look back at Summer through the lens of Brigitte Lorenz. Thanks to all who post and comment on the finest Flora gallery on the planet.

Bill,
Thank you so much for those kind words! I am really pleased and excited that my little experiment was received so well.
It serves as a reminder that creative FUN can deliver some surprising and unexpected results.
Thank you very much! So happy you've all enjoyed the leaf series. Still hoping to catch a good leaf fall from a tree-- that'll have to wait 'til next year, now, after this year's comical first try.
