Surviving!
Really pleased to see so many of these in the fields around us, but it makes you wonder how long with this weather. C & C's welcome as I probably haven't got the snow right!

Canon 50d
Canon 100-400 @400
20% crop
ISO 320
1/320 at 7.1

Thanks

Scott

Scott that is tremendous. Super detail and love the snow on the ear. Snow looks fine to me. :wavey:

Splendid shot. My only nits would be that i would like to see the Hare a tad higher in the frame and for it to be a bit lighter.

greetings,

I agree with Jeroen on the comp.
Try shadow and highlight at
Shadow
amount 52
tonal width 56
radius 12
Highlight
amount 14
tonal 6
radius 42
Mid contrast -10
Great capture to catch one out in this weather . :toast:

Hi everyone, thanks for your replies and advice. I've had a play with shadow/highlight and tweaked the composition again.

Thanks again

The hare itself is much better second time around, but I think I preferred the composition of the first version.

Scott agree with David I prefer the composition of the first image. I do prefer the processing on the second image but it looks a little overlighted on my monitor. :wavey:

Hello Scott.

Really like this if you can get the balance right.

I have had a little go to see what you think, hope this is ok.

Thank you all for your comments and advice. I really appreciate it, photoshop is not my strong point and I've picked up some great tips for my future reference  Thanks for taking the time.

I will post another image from the same shoot over the weekend. Its my favourite but might not be to everyones taste.

Thanks again

Scott
