I've been a fan of David Chauvin's images on ESS for a long time and recently purchased a favorite print. His swampscapes are incredible, I think. David's website isn't exactly user-friendly for print purchases, so I contacted him ahead of time and told him which print I wanted. He made the point when he wrote back that the sale will benefit the framing project for Ronnie Gaubert's images (see sticky thread above). I thought this was a really nice gesture and quite unexpected. What I ended up doing was emailing David which print I wanted and then actually made the purchase using the Ronnie Gaubert section of his website
David offers 12x18 images that are printed on ILFORD GALERIE GOLD FIBRE SILK paper using Epson ultrachrome inks with an Epson R2400 printer for $40, shipping included. That's a real bargain in my mind and knowing that it also benefits the permanent exhibit of Ronnie's work makes it even better. Based on the one I received, I can say that David's images look even better in print than they do online. If you're thinking about starting or adding to your print collection, this is a nice opportunity to get a fine print at an excellent price and to do some extra good with the purchase.
Thanks for the head's up Tony! Always been a fan of David's work, now an even bigger one. May have to do some Christmas shopping.

Tony,,,,I'm glad you like the print and thanks for the help with Ronnie's project. And yes, I need to do some work updating my site.
If anyone is interested, as Tony said, just send me an email with the print you would like and then do the transaction through the "Images by Ronnie Gaubert " gallery. All profits on my print sales until the end of the year are going to help Ronnie. If you have any questions, just shoot me an email.
