Hey Gang, this news comes to us by way of Beth Kimes. Apparently Art Wolfe will be offering digital darkroom classes starting in May. These will be held at his Seattle Gallery on 1st Ave So.
Rick thought the recent images I posted were selected for the EPI exhibit. Sorry for the confusion. These images are a new series of my work, not yet on display just finishing the processing in the last few days. Most of the galleries I work with show a combination of straight photography and my artistic stuff. They tend to work with many different artists in a variety of media.
As far as Art Wolfe's gallery, here is a link to Autumn Solitude. This is my image that will appear in Art Wolfe's exhibit in the Man in the Enviroment category. EPI guidelines did not allow for any photo art, all straight photography with minor adjustments were allowed.
The EPI exhibit will be held annually. I think the rest of the year the gallery will be mainly, if not soley, dedicated to Art's work, along with classes. I will let you all know more as I get information. So far I know that the Opening reception is invite only on May 18th, the EPI exhibit will be on display May 19-June 30 to the general public and admission is free. Classes are open for registration now, but they do not begin until May.
