Todd was tight--i do control the weather, that's why i was fully confident driving 180 miles to photograph the fog in the Gunnison cnayon on Thursday morning. It wasnt quite as epic as the last time i went out there, but i did some experimental stuff that ill post tomorrow.
Anywho, here's a sampler:
1) sunrise from above the fog (nother angle on ESS)

2) Sun trying to come out on the brink--didnt last long, the fog rapidly built upwards.

3) This tree was too cool with all the frost...

4) Obligatory B&W from the edge of the canyon...

) At 10 am, went back above the fog for the experimental stuff. This is not experimental. Just noticed all the dust spots that magically appeared on the jpegs--guess its time for a major sensor cleansing...
These are fun, Stan! I always loved passing through that area when we lived in Paonia, so beautiful in a peculiar way, and I'm sometimes surprised that one doesn't see more photography out of there. My picks of this set are that last one and the frosted tree.

I especially like #2 (cropped 1/3 or so) and the frosted tree.
