NPN is working on increasing its presence on the web and reach new audiences using social media tools like Facebook and Twitter. I am excited to have signed up to help NPN in this role.

To help make our social media presence relevant for NPN members, I would like to hear from you about what you think would make it worth your time to follow NPN through tools like Facebook and Twitter.

Some ideas that have been shared with me:

-Discussions about favorite locations
-Quick features on NPN member photographers
-Links to interesting articles about the art and science of nature photography
-Quick reviews on books related to nature photography
-Updates from NPN and regional forums
-For NPN members on Twitter: sharing member tweets and information to with NPN's followers

Which of these ideas do you like and dislike? What else do you think would be interesting, helpful, or relevant to you? Please share your thoughts below or email them directly to me using the link below.

If you are on Twitter and Facebook, please follow us using the links below!

Sarah, thanks for your efforts!

For our members and viewers, to make it easier to access our pages you can now find Facebook and Twitter icons on every screen in the upper right corner.

I think Fab's has a great idea and I think it would bring a lot more people to the NPN Site and would help in generating new membership.

OK, someone give a Facebook entry a try. You should now get a thumbnail of the month's cover photo.
