Fox in the snow

Red Fox (Vulpes vulpes)- Essex

Nikon D3, 200-400/f4, WH2 + Gitzo 3530LSV.
Manual exposure mode f5.6, 1/800, iso 1600.
RAW image processed in Capture One; sharpened in Photoshop CS5; noise reduction using Noiseware Professional; full frame.

An image from last week. To obtain an exposure value I took a matrix (evaluative for Canon users) meter reading off the snow (snow filling the frame) in manual exposure mode and added +2 ev.

Fabulous fox shot,, hes got the look of no good about him headed to the nearest pheaseant pen maybe. If it wasnt full frame I think I would have given more space in front,If your not adverse too such trickery adding some space in front would improve further maybe?. :toast: :toast:
