Regional Gallery Posting

I have posted an image or two in AK and in NENP. They don't seem to have much enthusiasm for posting in those regions yet.

California, Central States, Southeastern, and UK all seem to be doing a lot. Here and Rocky Mountain, a few. Just thought it was interesting to see who is doing the posting and what kinds of comments are being made.

I, for one, would like to see some other images and hear more constructive criticism of my own images.

I think the gallery will pick up after Christmas, Andy...people are more concerned with getting ready for the holidays right now than participating in the forums, whether it's our regional forum or the Midwest IC gallery.

Will try to post an image tonight in the new gallery if I can.

Thanks for posting the topic Andy. I agree that the more images and commentary we have will generate more and have a snowball effect. I think there have been more images posted in the new MWNP IC gallery in the past month than there were posted here in the regional forum during the previous month. I think we are off to a great start and that we should have a discussion about how to grow the regional IC gallery and forum. You have inspired me to post another one later today!

The regional forums have always varied widely with some slower and others generating a lot of images and commentary. Perhaps we could have a monthly topic or concept that might generate interest in posting. Camera clubs do it and it might work here as well.

I'm interested in hearing what others have to say and/or what forum members think of the new regional IC galleries.

I like the idea of a monthly topic! Give me some ideas of what you all would like to see for topics and we'll go from there.
