LR 3 upgrade and new computer

Probably a dumb question but I plan on upgrading to LR 3.3 (from 2.1) at the same time as I switch from PC to Mac. Can I install the upgrade version on the new computer without a previous full version already being on the system?

Yes you can. You will just need to enter the new serial number (for LR3) and then the old serial number (for LR2).
