Technically, since you're already a member of NPN and you're a resident of CA, you're already a member here, so welcome! Harley's info will allow the mods to include your information on the members pages and links, but really there's nothing you need to do other than what Harley mentioned.
Your name sounds familiar. Have you been involved in the camera clubs or N4C? I was a member and former pres of the Livermore Valley club. I've either seen your name through the clubs or possibly from the Alameda county fair.
Anyway, glad to have to stop by here too!
