Jack, that is a hilarious video, and scary at the same time. Truth be told with technology rapidly expanding daily, it is a trueism........................

Ha ha. This is a really funny video. Makes you think about where technology may take the digital camera. Looks like Panasonic is trying to capitalize on the "the camera makes the picture" mentality.

This really doesn't concern me much as we all know a good camera can help but only a good photographer can consistently take good photos. Sure new camera technology may enable a new photographer to not have a clue about aperture and shutter speed and still take photos. However, its never going to be able to tell the photographer exactly where to stand and how to frame the shot for the best composition or when to shoot a location for the best lighting. It also may get better at predicting which aperture to use in more situations but there will always be times when choosing your own aperture over the camera auto settings will give you a better artistic shot. Its always going to be the photographer who makes a shot, the camera is merely a tool (although some may be better than others). I'll use a power drill as an analogy, you have 12volt power drills and 18volt power drills, the 18 volt power drill has a little more power than the 12 volt and you may be able to drill somethings with the 18 volt that you can't with the 12 volt. However, you can't give that better 18 volt drill to just anyone and expect them to be able to build a house with it, you need a carpenter for that or at least someone with some knowledge of carpentry.
