Siberian tit -21
Another image of my recent trip to Finland. This was take north of Kuusamo near Ruka, close to the Russian border.

It was very cold this day and even for photographers it wasnt much fun. The Siberian tits didnt seem to mind the cold!

Hi Rene it could do with a round of USM other than that I find it a very good image, it's a species I've never seen in the wild you never know some day I might get round to having a trip out that way to see some of these.

Phillip.

This really gives the impression of what it is like in Finland at this time of year. The Tit stands out very well against the BG.

Rene,

How cold and when did you go?

The pastel colours and head turn make this image but IMO it needs a tad more USM.

Very nice image Rene, beautiful bird and great BG. It looks like it could do with a bit more contrast and USM as has been mentioned by others.

Tis nice and I like the snow covered perch, as suggested a touch more USM for presentation on the web, personally I don't think it needs any more contrast as I like the muted and pastel colours.

Can`t comment on colours as I`ve never seen one, but the composition is great, and the snowy perch the icing.

Very nice Rene. Love the soft, delicate tones of the image. Seems to suit the subject matter very well.

Excellent Rene! These tits were a real treat on our trip and I really like the beautiful colours. Have you solved the issue with Rawshooter?
