IPhones seem to have an endless supply of apps and many photography related apps. I don't have an iPhone because I need the better coverage of a different provider and also wanted insurance on the phone because my previous one went through the washing machine!
So, my question is this. Anybody out there find any truly useful and not just cute apps for the Blackberry?
Thanks,
John

Don't know about Blackberry but I have an Android and there are loads of useful apps.

Jim, can you list some of the best for Android? I remember seeing a list somewhere, but can't remember where and for which platform.

If I couldn't have my iPhone the next choice would be the Droid, the app list is getting big, but more importantly, there's the expectation now that when you write an app you at least cover iPhone and Android platforms being that the UI's are so similar. That means that it's a safe bet getting the Droid, because if you don't see an app that you want, it won't take long before it shows up. Blackberries are quickly becoming the business device (that could start an argument, lol!) as the iPhone and Droid are stabilizing as the phones of choice for user experience which means photographer-targeted apps abounding.
Or, hold off until Verizon and Apple ink the deal.

Biggest problem I have I guess is that I use my phone for a phone and I've never had coverage as good as I now have with Verizon. On many of my workshops in WV and NC, the iPhone folks are borrowing my phone to make calls! So, yup, guess I'll just have to be patient until Verizon expands its line of phones. Thanks for the input.
