Can you recommend a good colorimeter?

I have been using the Spyder 2 Express (kind of a cheap little thing, but has worked pretty well up till now). I have started getting a green cast after calibration, and have to try many times to get a profile without it. Might be an update to Windows 7 64-bit or something.
Anyhow, I was hoping someone could recommend a good one to get.
I have heard good things about the x-rite I1 display 2. (some complain that it needs a fix for Windows 7 64-bit though). I have also read that many people are getting a green cast with the Spyder 3.
Any help would be great. I want to keep it under $200 if possible. My current one was $65. Thanks! Chip

Cant help you, Chip--i use the blue eye that came with my Lacie and it works fine for me. But speaking of color, you might find the discussion im about to start here of interest, i bet you could offer some good feedback

The i1 Display 2 is very good. I have heard of problems with Windows 7 and colorimeters from students.

Chip, I'll second the i1Display-2. You might take a peek at the Chromix website. They do sell them and have excellent support. You might also check the X-Rite site for more info.

3 votes for the i1 display-2 - and thanks for the reminder to calibrate!
There is one on Ebay now, if you're interested in EBay.

I use the Spyder 3 and have had no problems but I'm on vista still. Used to use a friend's i1 and it worked just fine as well.

4 votes for the i1 Display 2. It works very well once you get over the setup hurdles.
