Still got fall colors in Texas!
Here it is one week to Christmas and we still have some nice fall colors in Texas. Many of the trees are done but the red oaks, Bradford pears, Japanese maples, and elms, still have some nice colors.

Here are a couple from the last week including one from last night of a red oak next to the little pizza place my wife and I had supper at.

And a little HDR fun. Despite fall colors that have been around since mid November we have had basically no rain and very little cloud cover making conditions less than ideal. So when at the no tripods allowed local Japanese Gardens I went into rapid fire bracketing to get this one to do as an HDR. I know the effect does not always work but I thought it was ok to show the area even if its not a great image.

Hey Darren, Nice sequence. We haven't had color around here for some time. I like the first shot with the various shades of red and the slight green to add contrast. The garden shot's composition makes it. A blue sky would help - but you have to work with what ya got.
