My fall Teton trip collection (a little late)
Well, I'm a little late sharing but I finally have all the keepers from my fall trip to the Tetons on my website. I ended up with a lot of good shots making the Grand Teton NP gallery my largest by far.

Here are a some of my favorites with more on my website here mountainskyphotography.com/Wyoming/Grand-Teton/ (a few of the shots are from my summer trip to the Tetons as well)

#1. "Above the Loft" A star filled sky above the majestic Tetons.

#2. "Majestic Morning" After waiting over an hour in the freezing morning air the Sun's first light hit Mt. Moran. The mist slowly rising from the river combined with the changing leaves and moon in the sky created the perfect morning atmosphere.

#3. "Evening Swim" After shooting an amazing sunset farther down the trail I came upon this lone bull Moose grazing along the river shore.

#4. "Morning Glow" As I was capturing images of the sunrise on Mormon Row I turned around and saw this amazing light. The color and light only lasted for a minute and I was the only one amongst 30 photographers to see it. It just shows you should always check your surroundings because the better image might be right behind you.

Thanks for including the larger version link. Very nice.
I assume you were light painting the barn?

#5. "Test of Time" This barn has withstood the harsh conditions of Jackson Hole, WY for 100 years.

#6. "Evening Paradise" The setting sun cast rays above the mountains while backlight lighting the wildfire smoke. The picture barely does justice to the amazing scene I saw that day.

#7. "Spires of Light" The majestic peaks of the Teton Range viewed from Signal Mountain.

#8. "Pride" A bison uses a small metal fence as a scratching post.

#9. "Days End" A silhouette of color in the last light of day.

Nice series Jason...were these all done with the new A900?

The night shot is sweeet. "Evening Paradise" is also quite dramatic. These would be a fine addition to anyone's Grand Teton image collection. Nicely done.

@Bill: Yes, I was using light painting.

@Jack: Yes, everything was shot with the a900.

#1 and #3 do it for me too! Love that moose...really sets this one apart. I'm thinking you need to bring this to the shindig for the white elephant.
