Yeah there's been a lot of rain. An we are heading towards tomorrow, albeit in San Francisco. It's raining there, but not nearly like L.A. area.

Thanks for the heads up, Jim. Been there many times over the years and in all different seasons. I just saw the video on TV and I've never seen the Virgin River with that amount of water. :eek:

wow--that video is pretty impressive! Wonder how it will change the character of the river--sure looks like some major erosion is going on!
EDIT: looks like Zion is headed for even more trouble--i just checked computer rainfall guidance for the park, and it is quite possible that they could see several more inches of rain by tomorrow night!

The canyon portion of Zion reopened this morning.
