Starting mid Jan we're going to make a pass through California, then up the coast. Maybe not the best time of year, but this is what my work schedule allows
I would very much appreciate any suggestions on "must see" places for this time of year.
Lodging suggestions?
How far up the coast should I plan on going?

California can be terrific in mid-January or rainy. But since we just had our storm of the century, it may be OK in Jan. There are so many places to go and see, and I would be happy to discuss it offline with you to get more info about how long you will be here, where you plan to go, your interests, etc. So email me and we can set up a time to talk about it if you would like.

I would go at least to Mendocino and to the Redwoods if you have the time, and then if more time up to Bandon in Oregon and even to Cannon Beach
