I'd like to hear more about the guy that raided his dad's retirement account to process 1, 580 rolls!! Apparently they were all of trains. I assume they were shot over many years and he just didn't get around to processing them?
I like the Dwayne's Photo lab Kodachrome commemorative T-shirt.
It sells for $12.95 at their website.

I wasn't too far from Kodachrome Basin in Utah this morning, but had plans elsewhere. Would've been cool to commemorate the end of an era with a trip there. Do you think they'll need to shut down that state park now?

I don't know about closing it, Todd....but "Megapixel Basin" just doesn't have the same ring to it...

Talked with Dwayne's on their last day of processing Kodachrome. They were beyond excited with all the press etc. They are however still processing Fuji Film. I guess their the last lab to process the Fuji mailers. You can order a tee shirt from them that was shown in the article. I remember the day's when the Kodak reps were out in the field (YNP) etc giving away film trying to get their customers back from Fuji. Sigh ,,,,I just sold the last of my film gear and have gone 100% digital. Now to continue with my winter project of (5 years in the making) of scanning my slide library.

Reckon that Thursday is not a very "sunny day" for many.
