Rare Spring Moment

I was driving on front street after dropping off a file downtown to get printed, I looked over and saw the cherries on waterfront in full bloom and had to stop and check it out. The conditions were pretty ideal despite the forcast, I also ran into a very nice family who thought it would be great to have me photograph their kids in the trees. This was a wonderful moment when the wind picked up and created a flower petal snow storm. Just thought I would share, as I've never photographed anything quite like it before.

By the time I left later that day the trees had already lost many of their blooms, it was a lesson in how rare these moments really are.

Do you carry Model release forms? I know I could have used 6 today, as a row of people were sitting on the bridge above Triple Falls, eating lunch with their legs hanging off the bridge. It looked pretty cool. I didn't take the picture because I wouldn't be able to do anything with it...
This is an awesome image, that's for sure. What a magical capture. I bet that family will be excited to see this! It's also cool that the little girl was color coordinated with the dropping pedals...

Rick, I think I will start carrying model releases with me, I've run into a few situations were I could have used them lately.

Lovely image. Besides everything else mentioned, it also have beautiful lighting and it's tack sharp.
