Horses, Fog, and Churches-AKA what I saw on my day trip
I have been doing day drives west of town a few days this week looking for possibilities. Along the way there has been, fog, overcast, rain, and a little bit of clearing sky.

Here are a few from the week. This first one was from the foggy morning.

An old country church I like to stop by. No powerlines and nothing around it. Great place to photograph.

This was actually with my fisheye. I tried to keep everything non-warped so there is only minimal distortion, so I cut out all the foreground grass (this is a single frame). I really liked the clouds here.

Finally I saw these horses running and had to stop. The white one was leading them and my first thought was this is Shadowfax and the Mearas. And lets see if anybody gets that reference

Again, I like all three, but especially the horses. They look as though they do belong at the end of the Third Age.

Very good work Darren, I like all fairly equal. That church is a real gem with lots of opportunities.

Thanks for the comments. Yes that church has a great many possibilities so it is a regular stop of mine. Barry, glad to see you have read your Tolkien!
