Went to a local hot spring called Horseshoe Springs in Skull Valley, Utah. It's not really that hot, the water that comes out is 72 degrees. Nice little scenic area.
Thanks for looking and C&C if you want. Happy New Year.

Looks like it could use a little punch, maybe lightened some and a bit more color and contrast. Cool shot though.

Upon further review Todd, you are right. It needed some more work. I went to levels and tightened it up on the right and used the grey eyedropper in curves to do some tweaking to the color and came up with what seems to me to be a better renditon. Thanks in advance for any C&C

Wow...that repost hits the spot! Love how the gradient in the skies is reflected in the water.
Which mountains are we looking at?
I'm an old hot springs fanatic, and know that you have plenty of hot ones in your area.

I like the repost MUCH better, but kinda miss the bluesy feel of the original.
Beautiful Image Jeff, I kind of like the original best, Maybe if you just brightened it a hair?

I love the original with maybe just a tad more of brightening, but not much. It really gives the feel of being there and freezing. Great image.

+1 vote for the original, which has the cool colors and cold feel. I agree with the others though that it could use a boost in the levels and/or curves... The contrast seems fine, but it could be brighter.

I love things about both the original and repost. I am leaning more towards Stan's assessment, but either way, love the shot still. I think the first one just says -6 more than the repost does and that was your main point of the post.

Like the warmth in the second image. But the first really conveys the cold weather!

These are gorgeous, Jeff and the repost is superb. I've been there several times and love the way those grasses frost up.
If -6 is your idea of "ouch", here's a cell phone snapshot of my car thermometer a couple of days ago. Fishlake mountain at 4AM.

What Todd said ... although the rework gets the nod for me.

Anyhow, great shot... peaceful but cold!
