Happy new year everyone! I've spent the better part of the last month designing a website and blog for my photography. It's been quite a challenge, since I knew very little about CSS and HTML before starting the process. I used Smugmug as the template for the website and added CSS and HTML to customize it to my liking. I used blogspot for the blog. Any feedback you have is much appreciated.

Clean, lean, and mean. Looking good to me.

One thing I did notice was a duplicate image in your Mountains gallery. I would also hide the "New York" gallery until it does have photos in it. :toast:

Thanks for taking a look Steve. I fixed the duplicate image and hid the new work gallery.

Nice work, Scott. I like it. What did you use to build the galleries?

David - The galleries are a smugmug template. These galleries were actually very easy to use since most of the programming has already been done by smugmug.

Scott,
I like the look you've put together, simple, clean and effective presentation. I'm a bit jealous, as I have been trying to put a new website and blog together myself, but have never had the time to finally get it done. I'll be proud if mine, when I finish, looks half as good as yours. Well done!

Great website, Scott! I'll frequent it often to view.

Very nice Scott. You have inspired me to trim the fat off my site, which has way too many images that are not especially good. I figure if you can keep it to that low a number, I should definitely be able to do that.
