Here are a few images taken along the South Platte River yesterday during our annual Eagles & Ice tour. Thought you might enjoy. No eagles observed, which was a first in eight years! However, the ice formations were pretty cool!

Ken- like 3, 5 & 6 ! Great Golden color and the shutter speed works fine.

An excellent set of images from this tour! A levels adjustment with #1 greatly enhances that image.

#1 repost and #3 and #6 are my favorites. #3 is prob my favorite. Love the blue and gold contrast.
Nice work!! I got to get out more during the winter :)

I like #3 the best with #1 a close second. Very nicely done.

Nice, Ken! Really like the gold tones in the wave shot. The ice in #2 could use some more contrast IMO.

Beautiful series Ken and the suggestions are right on. What was causing the gold reflections in the water?

Hi Pam, the sunlight was the primary cause of the golden color. We positioned ourselves to maximize the effect. The sky, of course, was the source of blue.
Stan, you're right...I increased the contrast and "structure" of #2 slightly in Vivesa 2 and it did make a world of difference. Thanks.
