Here is a sunset image made this Saturday from the San Luis Valley of the northern Sangre's. Clouds were coming in from the north as a precursor to the current storm and lit up just as the sun was setting.

Beautiful scene! This could use a Levels adjustment, though.
Cropping the top down to the orange skies and the right to the snowcapped peaks isolates and enhances the best parts of the image.

Like the light on the peaks!! I think Johns suggestions have merit and worth trying.

Wonderful light and color, Stephen. Would love to see a big print of this to show off the majesty captured here.

Lovely light, Steve! I like John's crop suggestion, but I also think trimming a bit from each side has some merit. Nice catch.

It's difficult to get a landscape in that part of the world without a multitude of telephone and power lines, but you succeeded in finding a spot that eliminates those distractions. Or do you have some magical power line filter?
Great color and detail in the foreground and wonderful subject matter. Two thumbs up!
