Wondering if anybody can help me out here. I accidently deleted my recycling bin on my main screen. I can't seem to find it anywhere on my computer yet when I delete things I still get the question "are you sure want to send this file to the recycle bin" I am using Windows Vista on an HP laptop. Any help or info would be appreciated. Thanks
Use System Restore in Vista. Restore your system to a date/time (That has a restore point) before you accidenatlly deleted the Recycle Bin icon.
The Recycle Bin is a 'system' folder and cannot be deleted. All you did was delete the icon on your desktop.

It's probably a lot easier just to open Windows Explorer and drag the Recycle Bin to your desktop. That will just create a shortcut to it on your desktop.

Wow, that was easy. Thanks to both of you for the advice. I tried David's way first and I found it no problem. I swear I had looked everywhere for it even did a system search and got nothing. Oh well all better now. Thanks again

I'm a little late but yea David's solution is really quick and easy! I made the same mistake and freaked for a few minutes until I calmed down and did an internet search... now I have a mac so no worries!!
