My wife gets this magazine & pointed out a free contest they were putting on. I've been selected the winner in the "Feathered Friends" category, won $150.00 for this WW Dove.
The "scanned" from a small print image appears in their Feb/March issue out now.
After they select the winners in three other categories, the four will be up for the $1000.00 Grand Prize.
Guess it will be later this year. Can always use the extra grand :wink:

Congrats Howard. The company that publishes Bird and Blooms also publishes a number of other great magazines full of wonderful photographs. One of their other magazines called "COUNTRY" also has a yearly photo contest you might want to check out. The nice thing about entering their contest is even if you aren't a finalist there's still a chance they might print your photo in other upcoming issues which gives you some publicity. Also they will let you know in advance if they print a photo or article.
