White stork building nest

Near Caceres in Extremadura, Spain, white storks nest on top of huge granite blocks. It is a truly incredible place with very good opportunities for photography.

Love it! The rocks lead the eye in nicely to the stork at the top! Brilliant pose too! :toast:

Beautiful bird-in-habitat shot. Would love to see this really big to appreciate the detail.

I agree - this is excellent, and so very different. I love the centralised composition, and the pose of the bird is the proverbial icing on the cake!

Brilliant!
