Jim, I went from the E510 to the E5. I really like it, it is taking a while to get familiar with the change in controls but the improvement in IQ and focus time make me happy with it. I think the image that it outputs is closer to what I see through the lens. I felt like with the 510 I was seeing more and clearer than it came out of the camera, still a nice photo but the 5 is better. I have also been happy with shooting with faster ISO's.

I am an Olympus Junkie. Has been since the OM-1.
Have thrown away an OM-10 and one or 2 others but still a OJ
Have the E-1, E-3, E-30 and most happy with both the E-1 & E-3.
I`ve just ordered the E-5 and cannot wait to get it.
As Lorna says "in some groups it like saying a dirty word!" but then I just laugh and say that I like to think for myself and not follow the crowd. Earns me a few enemies what then it makes life a bit more interesting
BTW my son is a world class surf photographer and uses my E-3 frequently. He says no other lens that he has ever used of ANY brand gives what the Olympus ZUIKO lenses give. He has used Canon, Nikon. Only reason he says he used these are for the frame rate not the quality of pictures.
