Just made an interesting discovery.
As we know, "saving2 a picture off the gallery does not work.
Most people know about the "print screen" feature which works quite well on the larger pictures.
I have now been informed however that on certain browsers
( especially it seems the one supplied with SKY broadband), the print facilty works on both the normally viewed image and the larger one if posted.
With 6 people that I have contacted with Internet explorer, they cannot print preview the normal 720 pixel image but can on the larger version picture if one is posted.
I have just printed a very acceptable A4, using the print preview/print facilty. I know it doesn't happen that often but I will be wary myself about posting larger versions.
Anyone else heard of this ?
There are many ways of saving photos from any website, even when they are protected by right click inhibition. I won't go into them here, as that wouldn't be sensible.

Steve
I agree but I think most people who would be into that sort of stuff would be pretty well ! Au faire " (or something like that ) as they say with the various methods available.
My point is purely that this was one of the new inovations appertaining to the new forum UK format. You have exactly emphasised my point.
If peope can easily copy stuff then why bother with a so called preventative measures.

My stuff is so crap that no body copies it. I am really upset about that.

I think a simple watermark should lessen any worries you have, John. If people want to go to the trouble of copying an image and then spend hours cloning out a watermark then good luck to them
