Just a quick thought on an e-mail I just received. It was to an old e-mail address that was originally hooked to my website and the subject line was :"Son Ngyuen" has sent a new slide show for your viewing."
Well, being a photographer and always interested in looking at other shooters' images I chose to open the e-mail and view the photos only to be greeted by: "please enter your social security number to view the slideshow."
Of course I did no such thing and deleted the e-mail immediately. Mainly I wanted to share this and hope that none of my fellow RMPNers are frivilous enough to respond by entering their ssn on an e-mail like this.
BTW, I've activated virus scans and will be running malware removal tonight but so far nothing evil has happened to me by opening the e-mail.

If even the slightest amount of doubt (and 'Son Nguyen' is a good clue) delete immediately.
thanks for the reminder, Bill

I've also been getting a lot of the E-greeting card spam lately, which used to contain a virus, but I just delete them. Those crooks are certainly very creative...
Thanks for the heads-up, Bill, but where's the picture! Yeah, you know I'm waiting for a photo post from you.
Dave, Bert that really hurts.
Oh yeah, and you better be bringing a print of that Grand Canyon shot to the print swap at the shindig!

Thanks Bill! Reminders are always a good thing, especially for us Windows 7 users who get three times the hardware at half the price (BWAAAAA!! No, not starting "The Fight", I bought my first Mac 21 years ago, lol). But actually, Dave is right, that's why I read all mail on my iPhone or iPad. It's like a suit of armor.
