After sticking my foot in it with Todd the other day and with some encouragement from Morris, I've decided to find some sunrise and sunset photos to share. These were all taken either from my rear deck or at Chatfield Lake.
I'll be hiding under my desk to avoid the rocks and bottles thrown my way.

Another Chatfield sunrise photo.

One of the most spectacular sunsets that I've ever seen from our rear deck. The lake in the photo is Chatfield Lake. Edit: After looking at it here, I can see that the saturation looks a little too high. Oh well, it's already here.

That's what I'm talking about! That first one is just a great moment captured! That's crazy how two birds wings are down and two are flat and they are the same. The view from your deck is outstanding and you are taking great advantage of it. I really like the symmetry, light, and clouds in that Chatfield sunrise shot. The colors in the sunsets are fantastic. Just keep bringin' 'em!

Beautiful sunrise and sunsets but my favorite is the first one. Very nice color in the water and the geese silhouettes are a great capture.

Wow, hard to beat colors like this. #2 is my favorite, but not being able to shoot wildlife to save my life, I am really impressed with #1. I'm wondering if the last one wouldn't be a bit stronger if you pano cropped it to just above the lake. Nice stuff all around.

Thanks guys. Maybe it's safe to come out from under my desk now!
