Morris, I've been working hard these last days trying to get something for you but the pickings have been pretty slim. Anyway, here are a few mediocre shots for you: an ice shot from Wednesday, Sprague Lake yesterday morning and two shots from sunset from last night. Perhaps I can now rest in peace for a couple of days.
Hmm? These aren't coming out quite as sharp as I had intended. Sorry about that!

Erik, These are all wonderful! I REALLY like the comp in #3. Fantastic foreground in that one.
Love the color and the clouds in #4! May I ask where it was taken?
Thanks Laurie. These last two were taken up on top of Flattop last night. The wind was howling so it made it more than a little challenging to get a semi sharp shot.
I just got home from work, and I was checking to see if you had brought anything! You just made it Stensland.
All of these have your exquisite control of light, color, and comp. Thanks for chipping in my friend! a toast for each of these beauties.

That ice abstract is amazing! What separates it from many others that are similar in content are the two completely different sides defined by that thick white arc.
Very, very beautiful, Erik. Thanks for sharing your art with us. I almost expect to see it in the 'Landscape' gallery soon.

I wouldn't say 'mediocre' since theyre all quite nice (especially like the last one) but they arent quite up to your high standards IMO. I would think with all the pretty sunrises and sets and all that wind swept bare ice, threre ought to be some great ops for ice reflecting color--but i could be wrong. You can set me straight tomorrow
I wish my slim pickings of the winter were anything like yours! I really like the bold divide in the ice abstract, and the wisps of clouds above the peaks in #2 really make that shot for me.

Erik, regarding that first one, if that egg that's in the process of being fertilized attaches to the uterine wall, please let us know if it's a boy or a girl.
These are great. That last one is stunningly rugged and beautiful.
