Ice Abstracts
Well I guess I'll join the crowd and post a few recent images.

Here's a few ice abstracts I shot.
I took these a couple weeks ago on a trip up to Echo Lake near Mt. Evans with Jack G. and another friend. It was very cold but worth it.
The rest of the images can be seen on my website gallery here: Ice & Snow Gallery

Bigger versions at the links for each number. Sorry but I haven't had a chance to name the images yet.

Nice Jason! I like #1 the best here, the diagonals give it a more dynamic feel and keep my eye moving around better than the other two.

Nice stuff, Jason, especially like 1 and 2 .

You mean I don't have to hike all the way to Dream Lake?
These are very good, Jason. #1 and 2 are just excellent.

These turned out very nice Jason. Only suggestion I would make would be to see about pushing the highlights and making the bright whites really pop. Don't be afraid to crank the contrast on these abstract images. :toast:

Very nice! Really like the pattern in the first image.

For me I like #1 the best, but would personally crop from the left and from the bottom making that large crack basically run almost corner to corner. I also agree with Koveh's comments regarding the highlights to make these pop. Cool shots

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I agree with the highlights and went back and reprocessed, definitely looks better. I disagree with the comp suggestion though as it would make the image look too symmetrical.

Here's one with the highlights reworked.
