Made a trip upriver to Lock # 14 LeClaire, IA to see whas twas happening there. Didn't realize till I had made plans to go that they were having their Eagle days. Started the morning little after 7 with about 6 other photographers, some local and several from far away at least one from Canada. The light just never got there. The sun showed up for a bit but not long and it was in the wrong place. Shot & visited for a couple hours then went North to #13 there were only a couple eagles there so came back to #14. Got a few to keep and then came home.

Looks great Kendall! Had the opportunity to go to Lock #14 a couple of weeks ago. Like your visit, the skies were heavily overcast when I was there. But there was plenty of eagle action though. Hoping to go back there in late Feb if conditions are favorable for the eagles to still be there.

This juvenile Baldie looks like he's learned all the tricks! Sweet shot, Kendall!
