Well, the sap started dripping off my maple tree Saturday, and this is usually the first harbinger of spring.

It's coming!

I am so ready! Saw some dafffodils breaking through and the lenten roses up here are beginning to flower.

It was 67 degrees in Knoxville at 4:30 p.m. yesterday, so I'm fairly certain it hit 70. I hiked in the Smokies on open pine-oak ridges in a T-shirt, along with other folks.

I'm happy, more please!
