Grebe ID
I took this photo in a Florida swamp. Can anyone help me with the ID on this grebe? There are so many and they are so confusing I could not figure it out.

Thanks

It is a Pied-billed Grebe Richard. I adore them for their fierce attitude despite their small size.

Agree with Mia - I rarely get to see them so it's always a treat. It's amazing how when threatened they sink under the water like a stealthy submarine.

All,

Thanks for the help. It was a fierce little warrior and made alot of noise. It was very hard to get close enough for a photo.

Thanks

Rick
