I've heard that there is a piece of hardware to attach to the Canon SLR's that will quickly take multiple images at different exposures for HDR photographs. Does anyone know what this hardware is called?
Thanks for your response,

There is a piece of hardware called a Promote that does it for me. It has a bunch of other uses as well including timelapse photography. It's a very handy piece of equipment and it's for any camera type I believe.

Dottie - You may already know this, but you could use auto-exposure bracketing on your camera, although the number and spread of the shots will be limited. Depending on the model, it could be anywhere from 3 to 9 shots, and anywhere from 1/3 to 2 stops between shots. You might want to check out that part of this Canon USA page.
