I know its not as good as the last but this one is hand held,I have spent the last couple of days trying out different shutter speeds for both hand held and tripod mounted,So have long lens on tripod and smaller lens for when they are too close for the big boy,If im lucky can get 1/25 on the tripod and 1/60 hand held and keep head sharp,Lots in the bin but its a bit of a lottery as you need the bird at the right distance from you and have the it flying in the right direction and have the right shutter speed etc etc

personally Dave, I like this more. Perhaps just a tad more space for the bird to fly into.

I much prefer the first, that has more feeling of pace and is such a great abstract.

on reflection I think Tim is right. There is more sense of the unusual and of movement in your first post.

Hello dave

I didn't get the chance to comment on your first post, but I do prefer it, nice idea and both work for me.

Hi Dave

Agree your first post was better - but still very nice!
