Pah-ree-ah
With a cold front to swing through northern Arizona Sunday, I figeured that this weekned would be a good one to get some sunlight on the Paria Badlands Saturday eventig and some clouds at sunset Sunday over Stud Horse Point.

#1 from Pahreah by the parking area.

#4 Toadstool, after the morning overcast broke. Took a short hike to the toadstools while driving to Stud Horse.

Great set, I enjoy that first on the most.

For me, the two most interesting ones are #'s 2 & 6. Love the light on #6!
#2 has a pretty strong magenta color cast which may or may not be a liability here, while #6 would look better with the black point in Levels adjusted. That adds more drama as it darkens the scene, while adding a bit more interest to the sky.

Great color and light in #6. Like the close crop in the second image.

Nice set indeed. That first one takes the prize.

One more for #'s 2 and 6 as being the pick of the litter. And for the same reason. A fine set of images.

Thank you for the comments.

Here is a similar image to # 2 taken in the last rays of direct sun, whih seem to remove the purple from the chinle layers. Originally I thought that the softer dusk light would work better. I am always open to critique and suggestions.
