Chanticlear Pear blooms
I got a couple of shots I like of my pear tree this morning before going to work, better light. Thanks for looking!

Canon 10D, 100 mm macro, polarizer, 0.5 sec @ f/16,+ 1.5 exp bias
curves, USM, clone out blooms near edge of frame

That's very interesting, Wayne. I really like the quality of light (kind of a golden glow) on the flowers. And a nice blue background, too! Nice job - thanks for posting!

As Tim mentioned, there is a pleasant warm glow coming off these really gorgeous blooms - you can definitely tell it's an early morning shot (my favorite time of day!). You've also captured lots of detail, which makes me want to have a closer look. Did you happen to get any macro shots?

Thanks for your post!

Bill I didn't shoot any macro shots on this particular morning. I took some last sunday but the light wasn't near as good. Here is one I took that gives you a closer look. Thanks!
