OT: A little Florida Sun for a cold night
I'm sitting here looking through my recent pics, trying to decide what to post and start the learning process, as painful as it may be. The temperature outside is fast approaching nil and I think the hamster that powers my 50 year old boiler has quit running in his wheel. I find myself drawn to my pictures taken a few weeks ago when I was back home in Florida (only because I haven't shot anything locally lately). So I figured I would post these for some critique. Mainly looking for comp, technical, and PP. These were mainly scouting trips to some areas that I want to visit at sunrise/sunset next time I'm home. All feedback welcome (I was in the Army and nothing you're going to tell me will make me cry...for very long). Thanks for looking

Not sure if I captured this the way I wanted. Seems cluttered and not as "deep" as I remember. Thoughts on how to do this better?

Hmm, looking back through they all looked a lot more crisp on the imac.

I think 3 and 5 are really cool shots. I like the comps in both of those. The starfish seems to be enjoying a relaxing day at the beach. #1 makes for a fasinating shot. The scene with the overhanging trees and road is just one of those that loses a little something at this small size and compression usually takes it's toll. You can post these at 720 pixels on the longest side which might help some.
