My school has been closed the past couple of days, so I have been hanging at home with a pot of tulips. While I have enjoyed the time with them, I am excited for the temps to go up so I can go outside (sorry, but these temps lately are a little too extreme for me!).
C'mon spring!

These are simply lovely, Anne! I love the selective focus on #'s 1, 3 & 4.
All are soft and sensual (w/apologies to Ms. Miesak. ).
You have an artist's eye for this type of work (..even if you talk to potted plants! ).

Very Nice series Anne...nice soft focus and pastels. My vote is for the first one but they are all VERY WELL DONE!!

Now these people get to see how talented you are with flora, Anne. Glad you put this great series up over here! #1 and 4 just blow me away.

Fantastic work, couldn't agree with John more here. The selective focus and lighting are excellent.

The more I look at these, the more awestruck I become. Simply flawless...

Thanks so much! The tulips say to thank you, too
Macro has been my focus (pun intended!) for the last 18 months or so and it was through everyones encouragement at the shindig that I put these on the RMNP forum instead of just flora. I appreciate and value your feedback!

Beautiful work! Personally, I like the first three the best. Looks like you made great use of your time stuck at home.

You certainly have an eye for flower compositions, Anne, and your processing is superb!

These are gorgeous, Anne! My fave is #2. I think.

I had to go look at these on my large screen TV before I commented. You should make some poster size prints. Really wonderful stuff, Anne!
Anne,
Extremely beautiful images!
The 18 months of macro focus has definitely paid off.
What equipment are you using?
Are you an art teacher? You definitely have an artist's eye.

Thanks so much, everyone! David, I work in student finance for a vocational school, and I appreciate the compliment very, very much!
I have a Nikon D200 and I love my Sigma 105mm. Thanks for looking and taking the time to comment!

#1 is my favorite because of the gently contrasting colors of the pinks and greens. The rest are wonderful as well, so soft and gorgeous.
