Winter in Yellowstone
Fountain Paint Pot
From a recent trip to Yellowstone. On this day it was sunny and temperature was 22 above.

Beautiful conditions to have in Yellowstone. There's some great light here to work with, and I think losing the bottom third of this would benefit this image greatly. Cropping off the left vertical third would help as well. The snow covered trees on the other side of the boardwalk is what's grabbing my eye the most here, so basically I would like to see a tighter comp using those snow covered trees, the clouds, and the spring with the cone shapes in the foreground. Hope that helps!

I agree...you have a good image here but the bottom third doesn't add anything interesting so I would crop it out. I also would like to see those trees. A few tweaks and this will shine!!

Good advice and thanks for the input. I will head for photoshop.

Just one more in agreement for a crop. I also like the light here and the colors look natural, so your processing is right on.

Another vote for a crop, but I really like the rest of the image. Fascinating place.
