Hi,
This is my 1st post here so greetings to all.
My name is Jerzy, I live in Vienna, Austria and am relatively new and fresh to photography.
Of course I had analog, later compact cameras for ages, They were always around. But only year or so ago once I got my DSLR photography just sucked me in.
I have already got rid of all kit lenses and keep upgrading the equipment but I am far away from where I want to be.
In the meanwhile I am learning the concepts and absorb the knowledge from more experienced.
At the same time I am ship model builder; ships, water, nature, photography - they can all come together. Beside nature shots I am also into documentaries like shooting details needed for my ship work. Then I also use macro.
Well, that was it as short introduction.
I have some pictures on my web pages, I will post also here when I have something new worth of sharing.
First let me learn some more

Welcome to NPN Jerzy. I agree with the others here. I am fairly new and have found the place to be a wonderful learning experience. Looking forward to seeing some of your posts.
I have also found it quite beneficial to look at and comment on other's images. It just makes you think about what you like or might change in the photo which is a very good exercise.
