I am trying to upload a photo for the first time. Using Elements 8, I was able to prepare the photo without too much trouble. However, I managed to get stuck trying to list the jpeg file OR the ULR address in the uploading process. Any help would be appreciated.

Gary, save the photo to somewhere on your PC and then use the browse/upload function. Use the File > Save For Web function and be sure to keep the file under 300kb and no larger than 720 pixels on the longest side.

I hope this works...... Well, I'll be, you know. Thanks Jim.

It worked all right. Hopefully this was just a test image as it's far too small for viewing.

Gary, that's it! Size it to 720 pixels and post it in the Flora gallery.

Gary: I think I know what happened to your upload in Flora. If this was your original image and you up-sized it to the 720 pixels you got some significant interpolation changes. Here is a link to an article by Darwin Wiggett on preparing a shot for posting using PS Elements. Hope this helps.
