Hopefuly, this present storm put a little snow back on the ground. I was just there the last 2 days looking for snow and icy waterfalls, and NOTHING but a few dirty patches of snow around - hardly any snow anywhere, even on top of Half Dome. Very un-pretty mud, standing water, and dead brown weeds all over. depressing..

Should be getting dumped on! I just got back from Sequoia last night, over a foot of snow on Wed. and much more forecasted for the next few days.
Well, it was snowing thursday night when I arrived. Still snowing in the morning. I had to dig myself out of my campsite with a snowshoe, as I didn't have a snow shovel! It was nice friday morning for a couple of hours til' it started raining and melted all the snow off the trees.
Snowed again last night, more than a foot! had to dig out again this time with a snow shovel I bought! Spent the morning slogging around El Cap Meadow in knee deep powder! Images to come.
Nice seeing you again, Chris. What an epic few days that was! I dropped off a boatload of film to get developed this morning. Looking forward to seeing your stuff.
