Hey folks,
A lady emailed me looking for a wedding photographer. she came across our site and was impressed with the photography. The date is July 15th and the wedding will take place at Salt Creek County Park, Port Angeles with the reception being held at Crescent Lake. She want's to have Nature included in the photographs. She is willing to pay $600-$800.You will be the main photographer so she does need someone with experience doing weddings. If you're interested, please contact me at elundh@comcast.net. I will then forward more information to you. Lodging in a historic cabin will be included.
She is going to have a hard time finding a "experienced" wedding photographer willing to do her wedding for that low amount... even with lodging included. There are any number of beginners willing to do it for that price just so they can get experience, although most won't have the primary equipment, let alone any backup equipment. She might want to check out http://portland.craigslist.org/ under services/events as there are a bunch of cheap photographers on there that would probably jump at the chance.
There's nothing wrong with a couple trying to find a cheaper alternative to the high cost of wedding photography, as long as they know what going cheap might get them. They may luck out or they might not. But even poor photography is better than no pictures on the wedding day.
I've just done my last wedding I'll ever do (at least for another year ) It's just stressful, even the laid back ones. I've turned down 3 now in the last month.
Thanks folks,
She didn't say he or she needed to be experienced. I just assumed it would be a good idea. So let me say if anyone thinks they can pull it off, let me know.

I might be interested, I've been a lead wedding photographer for a few years. I don't really like doing weddings much these days, but I could use the money this summer. My wife would be shooting with me, people seem to love husband and wife teams, she can catch a lot I can't or don't feel comfortable doing.
which ever one of you doesnt take this one, let me know. I will put you in contact with one I turned down. That one will have approx 200 attendees, and she is really wanting something special and magical out of the pictures...I think she was willing to spend around 500-600 smackers...but she really hadn't done her homework yet. For what she is expecting...she'll be looking at spending more.
Email me if your interested, I'll see if I can contact her again...
