Streams with green stuff
Mark and I did some hiking up in the gorge to check out the stream situation and came across this moss covered world. Yes...just moss, water, and rocks...but this was a peaceful cascade.

Good work, Rick. I'm not feeling compelled but it's nice to look at.

Get ready for green! The gorge is almost ready to start popping with spring foliage. Another month or two and we will see a million of these. Pretty much what Mark said. Not really compelling. Peaceful though. The comp is OK, but I do feel the foreground is a bit too dominant. I might try darkening it slightly also.

Rick,
I don't know if it's just me but your greens are looking pretty light and washed out lately. Have you done something with your monitor lately?

You are giving me the itch... I can't wait for the perfect Gorge months... This must be above Triple?

Something's changed in that damn save for web conversion I think...the look good on my screen, but then on the web they do looked washed out.
I was just practicing on my stream processing here...getting ready for late May up there...although the trillium is gonna be nice in the next few weeks.
There's gonna be so much to shoot in the next couple of months, it will be hard to decide where to go...but I'm gonna spend a few evenings after work scouting around lesser traveled streams in the gorge, I think...
I'm cheating, but here's another shot of me against those hills...***not for critique*** :wavey:

Once I get past the light rocks in the foreground I am imediately drawn to the FACE that is on the side of the next rock up. Just jumps out at me. Give it a look.

Rick,
I almost did the same thing when I say your "puke greens". :jump:
