Flatirons Fog
I heard about the fog early this morning and rather than waste all three days of a three day weekend I decided to give it a shot. (Sorry, couldn't resist) The fog was pretty thick down lower but up higher, way down past Monkey traverse I found this. Maybe more to come later from today.

Russ, this is fantastic! My inclination's usually to stay low and wait for conditions to come to me. You went after it and got something amazing. Can't wait to see more.

Russ, I like the backlit frost on the needles, the framing and the touch of red. Do you have just a little more of the upper limb to add as that twig seems cut off just slightly?

Terrific work Russ! I really like the triangle made by the trunk of the tree.

Love the warm tones and blues here. The touch of frost on the pines below is icing on the cake.
